Miss Vietnam Global to be held in Las Vegas

VietNamNet Bridge – The first Miss Vietnam Global pageant for overseas Vietnamese girls will be organised in Las Vegas on August 26.   Candidates can be from any country in the world, but must have at least one fourth Vietnamese origin, and must be aged 18 to 28.   The crown will bring the winner a prize of US$50,000 and some gifts. A total of US$20,000 is earmarked for the second and third best candidates, as well as winners of other titles such as Miss Friendship, Miss Ao Dai, Miss Photogenic and other titles.   The final contest and shows of the pageant will be held at the hall of the MGM Grand Casino in Las Vegas.   Many Vietnamese artists have been invited to perform in the final night of the pageant. These include singers from Vietnam; Dam Vinh Hung, Lam Truong, Cam Van, Khac Trieu, Hong Ngoc, Trinh Kim Chi, and Viet Kieu Xuan Mai, Tommy Ngo, Linda Trang Dai, Ai Van, Truong Vu.   The pageant will also be filmed, and DVDs of the show will be available.
